What can I salary package?

If you are an employee of a PBI or Health Promotion Charity, or a Public / Private Hospital you are able to salary package a number of items in a tax effective way.

In summary you can package the following:

-  Mortgage Payments

-  Personal Loan Payments

-  Rental Payments

-  General Living Expenses (through the CSP General Expense Card)

-  Meal Entertainment Expenses (through the CSP Meal Card) - NB: Meal Entertainment is money you spend to pay for the cost of dining out at resteraunts and cafes - not the cost of movie / theatre tickets etc.

Depending on your organisation you can also include in your salary package a motor vehicle (through a novated lease) and also potentially save tax on your salary.
